The Quick 8 Outlaws World Finals set for Darlington Dragway this Saturday

Quick 8 Outlaws Dralington Dragway 6-15-2013 014_edited-1The Quick 8 Outlaws return to the famed Darlington Dragway for not only the final event of the 2013 season but the final event for the Quick 8 Outlaws. After ten years of putting on some of the best Pro Modified drag racing it will come to an end Saturday.
At the last event at Orangeburg Robbie Matthews in the Kauffman Motorsports ‘57
dominated. Also, the last the Outlaws were at Darlington Matthews scored the win.
Will Matthews be able to repeat or will one fo the other Outlaws stop him? Can Alan
Pitman in the Blade Runner Camaro pick up his first win of the season? Ric Fleck
will be a contender for the win. Look for Pro Modified Drag Racing Legends Sonny
Tindal and Ed Hoover. Watch for Champion Racer Robert Sellers in his Fury. Ervin
Rose will be another one to watch.
After putting up career best numbers earlier this year Russell Miller hopes to
better them. James Linton Jr in his Duster will be trying to pick up his first win
of the 2013 season. Danny Blankenship in his 1940 Ford will make his return to
Darlington. Look for the Jokers Wild Vette with driver Kenny Kneece. Original Quick
8 Outlaw member’s Richard Lee and Irby Goff will be there. Jackie Jones will make
his third start of the year this weekend. Dennis Jordan will be there in his Nova.
Dwayne White in the family owned GTO will also return to action. Also, look for new
comer Phillip Keller.
Also, a reminder for all competitors, there are no association or club fees when
racing with the Quick 8 Outlaws. There are no weight rules or restrictions. Screw
type Blowers are prohibited from competing at a Quick 8 Outlaws event. For any
