Momentum on their side, Black Diamond Motorsports Heads to Bash On The Bayou

The  X-treme Drag Racing League (X-DRL) makes its first appearance at No Problem Raceway for the Bash On The Bayou on May 17-18 in Belle Rose, La. and Black Diamond Motorsports looks to keep the winning momentum going and claim 2 spots for the $25,000  “X-Treme Shootout” to be contested at the X-DRL’s Thunder In The Heartland on Sept. 20-21 at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis .

XDRL_5-43Black Diamond Motorsports John DeFlorian set the pace for the season in the Clean Coal Camaro with a number 1 qualifying position of 4.049 seconds elapsed time at 178.40 miles per hour then advanced through the field for the win at Tulsa Raceway .


XDRL251-EditKevin Bealko, Black Diamond Motorsports Team Owner, qualified number 8 at Tulsa Raceway but had to face his teammate John DeFlorian first round but at Bristol Dragway he qualified number 2 with a 4.083 seconds elapsed time at 177.11 miles per hour but action at Bristol was rained out during eliminations on Saturday. Both Cars had advanced to the semi-final round in eliminations and were on a course to possible face each other in the finals if the race had not be called because of the rain .

Black Diamond Motorsports Team has been the last three Extreme Pro Stock National Events finals, won the last two and set hold both the Elapsed Time and Mile per Hour records and were the first team to exceed 180 miles per hour in the eighth-mile .
